New coach Juande Ramos saw his team go through to the Carling Cup semi final despite having had a man sent off. Spurs beat Man City 2-0 and end City's 100% home record.

Defoe and Malbranque scored the goals to continue Ramos' impressive run after taking over the reigns from Martin Jol.

I know its cruel, but i was chuffed to see Defoe hauled off so early in the game, and so pissed off about it. My vendetta against that lad has gone too far!

Berbatov looked fantastic, when he is in that mood he really is unplayable. Just needs to do it against the big teams.
