Why I love Ramos

Ramos has come in and quickly gotten the team together and a series of good results flowing. The players are looking better and morale is up again. No matter how good you are, it's not easy to just come in and make such a quick impact. I am very impressed even though expectations were high based on his past track record.

But tbh I think Ramos was in a win-win situation, he came in at a period of time when ur injury list was getting shorter and ur fixtures were getting easier...

His biggest test is coming this weekend, if he can manage a draw v Arsenal then I'll be swayed, although last time with Sevilla at the start of the season he lost 3-0....

You're right that he came in with a good team that was just broken down physically and mentally but the results changed overnight. It's probably also a case of the players losing faith in Jol and being optimistic about Ramos. I just liked the fact that things turned very quickly whereas a lot of the time it takes a while for the players and coach to adapt.

Will be interesting to see what happens against the gunners.

I suppose that's true, after seeing the highlights of the City v Spurs game the other night I changed my opinion a bit, Spurs were much more clinical and much better organised and Robinson was actually bloody good. That was actually probably his first real test, Spurs now the first team to beat City at their home...

Lets not forget that Malbranque was very lucky to stay on the pitch, and ended up getting the clincher.....so they had a fair bit of luck.

but hey, a lucky manager is never a bad thing.

I'll take luck over a loss any day of the week We've had our fair share of bad luck so I'm glad the tide is turning. Pity about the Gunners game though.
