Spurs target Leeds starlet

Budding Leeds youngster Danny Rose is set to become the latest bright youngster to tread the well-worn path from Elland Road to White Hart Lane.

Following previous captures of Aaron Lennon, Paul Robinson and Robbie Keane, Rose is set to make a £1 million switch to White Hart Lane as the Yorkshire club faces up to having to sell its most prized assets again to secure its financial future.

17-year-old England under 18 international Rose can play wide in midfield or up front and is being tipped to make an immediate impact at Tottenham with many believing he can break into the first team squad inside a season.

Spurs have reportedly beaten off interest from Chelsea and Newcastle to sign Rose and a deal is expected to be completed this week.
