Tottenham v Arsenal (Carling Cup semis)
It's arrived boys. The semi finals. To the death. Only one of these teams will go through to the finals and it happens to be against our good old arch rivals the Gunners. What'll it be? What's your prediction?
Home match with Arsenal over-confident after beating Man United. I say 2-1 to Spurs or a 1-1 draw at worst.
COME ON YOU SPURS!!!

have to see the teams
spuds will play their best XI
we'll play back up players + a couple of first teamers
don't know if Djourou is fit, with gallas out we may be forced into playing Toure and Senderos
Cesc only played v Liverpool because he'd been suspended the game before
if we can get Freddy back I predict
almunia
hoyte toure senderos traore
walcott flamini song freddy
baptista
aliadiere
v
fatRobbo
chimmy uphillgardner dopeydawson cumofsumyungguy
Lemon Huddlelump Zokorouch Malbonk
J'transfer-request'D and Count Berbatacula
score prediction 2-1 to tinytotts

those spurs names seriously made me laugh.
i was surprised to see spurs have been labelled favourites for this, they never beat arsenal .
i think this game will be a draw, im not sure how much of a reserve team arsenal will put out this time though, they played most of them v liverpool which was brave (but obviously paid off) but its the semis and its spurs, surely arsenal fans wouldnt want to see spurs go through at their expense

we'd rather get league points and get past bolton in the cup though
well the management would
a lot of fans are harking back 20 years to the late (sadly in more than one way) great Rocky goal v TinyTotts
YouTube - Rocastle vs Spurs 1987 League Cup semifinal replay !!!
'cos of the fact that its two legs I think we'll play a very young team first

I have to believe that JD is correct on this one. I don't think it's important enough for them but for us we we need to taste some glory so we will be fighting harder. The thing is though that Arsene NEVER go easy on Spurs. I don't care if it's the Arsenal ladies v us it will still be a battle.

Quote:
Didier Zokora wants revenge for last month's defeat to Arsenal - to prove a personal point as well as help Tottenham reach the final of the Carling Cup.
The 26-year-old featured last month when Spurs lost on their Emirates Stadium debut - a 3-0 defeat that has proved one of the low points of a season which sees Martin Jol's men still competing in four competitions.
They host rivals Arsenal on Wednesday in the first leg of the Carling Cup semi-final, with Zokora set to deputise for Teemu Tainio after the Finland midfielder sprained an ankle against Fulham at the weekend.
Jol's summer signing from St Etienne has been inconsistent this season - he was not helped by a recurrence of malaria - and has made only one start since losing the ball in the build-up to Liverpool's winner at White Hart Lane three weeks ago.
'I've played some matches well but I think I can do better,' said Zokora, who came on for Tainio against Fulham at the weekend. 'I think I played well at Fulham Saturday but on Wednesday against Arsenal I hope I can show the real Didier Zokora.'
Zokora has played in an African Nations final but beating Arsenal over two legs would lead to his first final in European football, and he has the added incentive for atoning for the disappointing performance against the Gunners last time out.
'Of course we are after revenge because Arsenal is north London and Tottenham is north London, so it's big game,' Zokora added.
'I'm fully fit now and I want to play regularly again. I haven't been on the greatest of form but I do want to play.
'I wasn't at my normal level last time. This time I want to do myself credit. This is a very big game and I hope that I can put together a good 90 minutes.'
Anthony Gardner, however, has returned from a knee injury and is determined to impress with his opportunity in the first team partnering Michael Dawson in the heart of Spurs' defence.
Arsene Wenger, meanwhile, looks set to again give youth a chance in against Tottenham.
The Gunners have already beaten Barclays Premiership opposition at Everton and, in the last round, Liverpool with a very young side.
Wenger indicated he was ready to continue his squad rotation policy for the short trip to Spurs.
'We want to repeat our previous performances we have had so far in this competition - if we can win at Everton and win at Liverpool, then we can win at Tottenham as well. Now it is down to the boys to prove that,' he said.
'It will be a very special atmosphere, and we will be ready for it.
'Do not forget we were in the semi-finals last year and we feel our young players have improved since then.'
England forward Theo Walcott is likely to return to the starting XI having been rested against Manchester United on Sunday.
However, Arsenal's leading marksman Robin van Persie, 23, is set to be sidelined for several weeks after fracturing a metatarsal bone in his foot when scoring the equaliser on Sunday.

Good start by Spurs, great early run from Lennon leaving Traore on the floor and then getting past Diaby with a bit of luck. Berbatov has had a good chance so far too.

1-0 after 12mins. Great game so far, real end to end stuff and quick restarts after stoppages. Berbatov with a header from inside the 6-yad box, great cross from Defoe, really spot on, but Toure and Almunia screwed up, I think Almunia called for it and then left it so Toure left it. This should make the game even better.

6 shots so far by Spurs with 3 on target and they've had a majority of the possession. Looking good.
