I thought Wallcott was crap in this game.
Lennon was good. But Cesc was everything today.

Fuck up if you are going to come onto our part of the board show some class not our problem no gooners are on their board which forces you to come here to talk about the game.
I had some respect for you until you uttered that garbage.
Robinson is not in the best form at the moment and hasn't been really since the World Cup but he is the best Keeper in England on his day and a keeper is only as good as the defence infront of him, where our goals were leaked from tonight.
At least they didn't win we have a tough assignment in February now.
Wonder if Alnwick will get a run soon heard he played well in the reserves. And the rumour was Rocha was going to play today aswell so we might see his debut in lillywhite not too far aswell.

the officials made a bad call when they called keane offside when he was through 1 on 1 v almunia who was standing on the edge of the box, that was a chance ud expect keane to score and 3-0 before HT would be hard to come back from for arsenal.

He's right mate. A little respect would be nice. We all try to be civil here and let knowledge and our teams do the talking. This is the Spurs forum. If you want to bash, head on over to the Arsenal section.

IMO he isn't. Even if he is our best keeper that don't automatically make him great.

Didn't say he was great I just think there is a reason England selectors have him as the number one.
Mind you I can't see him holding onto that title after this season, but can see Defo getting a crack at a starting striker same as Lennon and Dawson in their respective positions.
Might have Huddlestone selected in the squad to should be interesting to see who they pick.

No problem mate. Thanks for the response. Believe me, we know the shortcomings with the team
It'll be a tough second leg for us. Should be a good game either way. They always are. Credit to Arsenal for pulling back from two down today.

This must feel like a defeat for the Spurs' fans due to the sheer dominance you showed in the first half.

Spurs struggled when Berbatov had to leave the field.Arsenal was taking more and more over the game.I didn't see the 2nd half but it seems Arsenal was the best team...Again Berbatov/Defoe show good partnership.

Yeah. I hate to bring it up, but I recall a recent game against Newcastle where the same thing happened. At least this one we didn't lose
It's going to be a huge battle in the 2nd leg. I'm trying to figure out if King will be back and/or if Rocha can play.

It was a great game, high tempo. It was obvious that Arsenal was gonna get the equaliser, they were attacking all the time and seemed like Tottnham didnt have any force to defend.

Rey, I can't wait for this one either although I am very nervous. I'm going to start up a new thread for the 2nd leg and move your post over there and then we can get talking...
