Spurs agree Rocha deal
Quote:
Ricardo Rocha says he is ready to fulfil a dream of playing in England after Benfica accepted Tottenham's offer for the central defender.
The Portuguese giants have been locked in talks with Spurs over the last week and they have now struck a deal.
Spurs will pay £3.3million for the 28-year-old, whilst they will also play two friendlies against the Lisbon outfit.
Rocha is now in London going through a medical and will sign a two-and-half year deal if all goes as expected.
The player himself cannot wait to conclude the move.
"This will fulfil my dream to play in England," Rocha told the Portuguese press.

I know some don't think so, but I think it's a good move. We need aggression back there. He should do a good job if he can fit in.

You know my opinion, he's not very good.
But well, now that he joined Spurs and has Dimitar as a team-mate, I wish him luck

"Well, that was fun... in a fuckin' terrible, sick, not-at-all-fun way."
Ricardo Quaresma: forever a Porto legend. Thank you for all the memories.

He's a hard central defender. Decent marking, decent tackling, but very poor in the air. He's about 1.82m
He can play CB,LB or RB.
Rocha is a good player to have on the bench, I guess.

Oh right.
I wouldn't say 'slighly worse'. Boularouz is better in the air, Rocha is a better tackler.
