Default Keane and Jenas out injured

Keane suffered his injury during Spurs' 2-1 win over Middlesbrough on Tuesday, while Jenas picked up a knock in the 3-0 defeat at Arsenal last Saturday.

Jol told Spurs' website: "Robbie has a medial ligament strain and will be out for five to six weeks.

"JJ took a blow to his ankle and he'll probably be out for four weeks."

Midfielder Jenas had just returned from a calf injury and Jol added: "It's a blow for him."

And the injury to Keane could not have come at a worse time for him, just as he was beginning to find his touch in front of goal.

The striker has just climbed off the bench to score the winner against Boro before he damaged his left knee.

bad news for spurs, 2 important players at a crucial time in the season.

jenas gets a lot of assists for spurs and keane is vice captain i think, luckily defoe can easily fill in for keane but defoe may get tired with the busy schedule. on the other hand this could be defoe's chance to shine and regain his starting lineup position

This is indeed a big blow, but for the first time in a while we actually have some depth. Mido is out too so they better be careful, but it's a great opportunity for Defoe who has waited patiently.

Keane is a huge player for Spurs, and they sure is gonna miss him.
