Default Potential cooperation deal

Quote:
FC Brussels have confirmed that Tottenham Hotspur have shown an interest in setting up a potential cooperation deal.

The Jupiler League outfit have revealed that they have been approached by Spurs about a possible deal, although they have insisted that nothing concrete has emerged from initial talks.

Speaking exclusively to skysports.com, commercial director Gino Gylain confirmed talks had already taken place.

"We have had a first conversation with them, but we are not really near to doing something," he told skysports.com.

"We will maybe have a few more meetings in a few weeks or months but now is not the right time.

"It was our first meeting so there is no obligation on the part of Tottenham or Brussels, but we will see what can possibly happen in terms of exchanging ideas about the sporting side, events and youth."

Gylain insisted Tottenham were the only British side to have shown any sort of interest.

"At the moment there is only Tottenham, so far we have had a few contacts in France but nothing concrete," he added.

Brussels are currently sitting 10th in the Jupiler League.
