Tottenham striker Robbie Keane has described former team-mate and West Ham forward Teddy Sheringham's ability as 'second to none'.
Sheringham will return to White Hart Lane with the Hammers on Sunday at the age of 39.
However, he will be remembered for two spells with Spurs, where he spent the 2002/03 season in partnership up front with Keane.
"He is obviously a fantastic player with the things he has done in the game and playing with him was second to none," Keane told Tottenham's website.
"When I came here he helped me progress as a player and it was a pleasure to play with him.
"Full credit to him, he is 40 next year and it just demonstrates how professional he is and how he looks after himself."
