Angry Fcuking Useless!!!

Challenge for a top 6 place, break into Europe, compete with the top sides... DREAM ON YOU YIDS, we can't even beat bloody Grimsby !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a sh't shambles we were last night, ok we had a load of possesion at times but any team can play the ball from left to right all night, but our performance in the final third of the pitch was trash!

Constantly being closed down, nobody (other than Keane perhaps) really tried to get at them and break them down. I'll take nothing away from Grimsby, they played their hearts out and kept very organised, still it was like watching a recurring nightmare, yes England's humbling by the Irish quickly springs to mind...

The only positives I can take from this game was that Keane and Defoe seemed to link up pretty well, unlike last season, and I got a proper look at what Jenas is all about and on the odd occasion I was very impressed with him although it's clear he is not the defensive MF that people have suggested he is, more AMF...

TIme to move on, but why do I sense a draw or even defeat against Fulham is heading our way come Monday????????

I reckon Mido will be strait back in the side now that his ban is over and that Rasiak will be his back-up which he was bought in for... I can see a lot of potential in Rasiak although he looked a little awe-struck when he went strait into the starting line up I reckon he'll soon settle in well and do a good job for us.

In fact it's a shame that Mido will push him onto the bench cos I don't like the stroppy git...

erm...one poor cup performance isnt the end of the world my friend.

top 6 is still on....keep the faith but remember your team is yet to settle on a shape, core or style.

Third in the league and an ability to grind out results while not playing particularly well I haven't seen for years. I won't forget the Grimsby game, but as someone said, the pain IS subsiding.

Currently sitting in third, joint 2nd on points. Lets be quite honest even the most blinkered of us long suffering Spurs fans could not have thought we would be third, never mind the fact we have only lost one league game this season (Chelski) and apart from the Grimsby cup exit its not been so bad has it?, ok ok, poor performance v Villa, but an improved 2nd half secured a lucky draw for us, thanks to super sub Robbie keane, and a shocking first half against london rivals Charlton, then a huge turn around in the 2nd half, and a 2.3 win, cant grumble at that, nor the two deserved draws against the three other supposed top four clubs, Man U, Liverpool and Arsenal, apart from the Pool game we could and should have won the other two games, certainly the Derby game, the start is such a pleasant start to the new season i am almost becomming less pessimistic about our chance of a top four finish, having said that years of expectance without deliverance have left me in no mood to expect anything better than a higher finish than last seasons 9th, and a good cup run in the FA cup.

The players have started to gell, and even that lump of turd Jenas has improved in the past three games, give this current team a season playing together and next season could be the season that we see our expectations coming true, this season remains a building season, and hopefully this summer wont see as many ins and outs of players as the last two summers have, time for the team to stay a gelled unit.

Up the Spurs
