Sorry lads I was one day out, said it would be wednesday before we signed anyone! lets hope he's still the great player and not been ruined by inter as they often ruin players.

moratti may be a **** with his ott player purchase, but his days are long gone under mancini.

My only concern is whether or not he's recovered sufficiently from two or three long periods out through serious injury.

Hard to tell at this stage how we'll line up, but can't see it working with Carrick, who's a firm Jol favourite. As it stands, I'd say Tainio and Davids even though the former is new.

Whatever the case, I can see Davis and Brown leaving. Hopefully, Fulham will take back Davis and a few quid for Boa Morte.

This still aint a done deal though. He is a player i wanted to see in the premierhsip but its too late now, just shows best players over the years come to the premiership in there 30s which is a shame.

He'll still be class. Mark my words. Try and find footage of his spell at Barca for proof.

Everton's own interest is said to be "official" though.

This little snippet is interesting though:

Quote:
Jol rejected reports that Tottenham are also interested in signing the Inter winger Andy van der Meyde or the Feyenoord striker Dirk Kuip.

"You are always trying to strengthen your squad, but I think ours is pretty good," Jol said. "We have never approached Kuip or made an offer because we have a group of four strikers who are second to none."

That closes the door on the possibility that Fredi Kanouté could be on his way out of the club, while Tottenham say there is no chance of Robbie Keane leaving either. It will mean competition for places, but that is exactly what Jol wants. "The players have to keep themselves happy. There is no change in the situation from last year and that proved to be very good for the club," Jol said.
(The Independent)

That bit in bold cleverly omits any reference to VDM.
