Default Thoughts from a Spurs Fan

For what it's worth, this is my first post....

I really cant wait for the new season to kick off, its gettin closer by the day.
Heres some random thoughts on football, by me.

Firstly I'm starting to get excited by a rumour which, as a spurs fan, I should be used to by now. But this rumour seems to be gathering in authenticity as it appeared on the BBC website! The rumour I'm talking about is the transfer of The Beastly Brazilian, Julio Baptista to hopefully spurs. In my eyes hes the solution to our problems, he could easily be converted from a prolific goalscorer (20 in 30) back to the creative free scoring midfielder he once was. But the absolute best bit of it is that we are beating Arsenal in the race to sign him.
I am aware of the fact that he said he would prefer to stay in Spain for another season, but I can hope cant I?

Second of all, I would like to say a few words on Newcastle.
Lets get it straight that £10m for two very similar, and lets be fair, mediocre midfielders is not good business. Second of all, they only chose to sign for Newcastle instead of Spurs becuase they knew that they would have a very hard job holding down a regular first team spot. Next of all, the blind stupidity of the Newcastle fans thinking that Jermaine Jenas is worth £20m, but I wont go into that. The main point I wanted to make on Newcastle, is their stupidly arrogant manager who is single handedly responsible for destroying what was a respectable club with a good squad of players. I now have a great deal of respect for Laurent Robert for having the guts to speak out, and in my opinion he was one of newcastles key players.

Lastly, I thought I'd compile a Spurs XI of players we have been rumoured to sign so far:

Vieri - (he'd be good in goal....)
Halford Dellas Young-Pyo
Jenas D'allesandro Rosiky Kily Gonzalez
Saviola Baptista Martins
(please)

COYS!

He's old, but he's not down and out. Its a shame that we'll never find out what he would of done in England.
