Default Something I Just Realised

A few years ago when Teddy Sheringham was released, Spurs had no England internationals and hardly any other internationals, Keane and Keller are the two that come to mind.

Now, we have four players who have played at least one match in England's last 4 (Defoe, Carrick, Robinson, King) and have a host of England youth internationals in the side like Huddlestone, Dawson, Lennon and Routledge. Depending on how he reacts after injury, Sean Davis is also an outside bet for some caps for the England team.

Things are loooking up.

We had a fair few international when Teddy left. Albeit as you righlty pointed out hardly any full England internationals, only King and Gardner during that season i believe.

Ethers was an under 21 England international and Rickets. Davies, Keller, Sullivan, Carr, Keane, Poyet, Bungy, Acimovic, Ziege, Iversen (?), Blondell, Postiga, Dalmat (breifly) probably missed some too.

You're right on Iversen, although he only appeared a handful on times that season, and left pretty much straight after Teddy did. How acimovic got into an international i will never know. He is the most shocking player i've ever seen in a spurs shirt along with Gary 'the ginger Pele' Doherty. (Doherty's another one)
