Tottenham Hotspur defender Thimothee Atouba has reiterated his desire to secure a move to Bundesliga outfit Hamburg.
Speaking in an interview with Die Welt, the 23-year-old Cameroon star said that he had held positive talks with HSV sport director Dietmar Beiersdorfer.
"I would be extremely happy to move to Hamburg," he said. "The club always conducts itself in a top class way and that says a lot."
Atouba refused to criticise anyone at White Hart Lane, but added that he needed to move on to keep his career moving forward.
"I haven't been in the line-up recently and if the club don't think I'm capable of playing regular first team football then it's time I looked elsewhere.
"I want to play for a club where I can play a pivotal role," he said.
Hamburg have reportedly fallen well short of Tottenham's €3 million (£2 million) valuation for Atouba, but the Rothosen could be ready to up their offer should strikers Emile Mpenza and Bernardo Romeo sign for Olympiakos and Panathinaikos respectively.
