Toronto-0-Galaxy-0-F
The big question is will Becks play? He has an ankle injury and hasn't gone on the road with LA. Could he be fit enough for Toronto?
He's still living it up in LA even though he's injured!!!

The big question in the media today was..."Will Becks play or not?" Sounds more like NOT at this point. But he's training and hopefully he gets to play in front of over 20,000 fans.

Who cares!!!
The guy is so overrated and I'm sick and tired of people bragging whether he should play. It's not like he's gonna make a difference anyways. Plus, with Landon already envious towards him, there seems to be a feud brewing, and I like it.
I hope toronto wins -- They have the best crowd in the MLS and if they can beat L.A they would put themselves one step ahead over the Galaxy who are white.

I can imagine in some late stage LA Galaxy suing Becks for not filling his contract properly. LOL, just me.
People expect too much from him, and he won't satisfy them properly.
As one US journalist said, unless he scores hat-tricks in every match, they won't be satisfied. They see him as a saviour, and after all the massive money spent on him.
Shame he can't play yet after the debut, he's being hated so quick.
A clear example:
Bad move from Becks there in US, and he knows it. He regrets it, but he can't do shit now.

haha...one person was waiting for him. Glad i didn't go downtown for Becks.
Quote:
Around 10:30 last night, a bus carrying several Galaxy players arrived at the chic Ultra Supper Club on Queen Street West. As the players darted out the door and into the back entrance, security guards lifted up dumpster lids and obscured photographers' view of the players.
Earlier, in front of the King Edward Hotel where Beckham and his teammates were slated to stay, lone fan Corey Hicks, 33, stood for hours waiting for his idol to arrive.
``I'm shocked there's not more people here. I was expecting a circus,'' said Hicks, a fan from Beckham's Manchester United days. ``But I'm a huge, huge fan, I'll stay to get a picture – who knows, maybe even an autograph.''
Hicks was joined in his lonely vigil several hours later by Toronto special education teacher Mark Howard, who wore a Real Madrid jersey he hoped Beckham might sign.
``I'm just a soccer fan and I've got the summer off and nothing else much to do,'' said Howard. ``I'll stay here as long as I can. If he's coming, I'll be here.''
Beckham was expected at the hotel in the early afternoon but a delay to the team charter threw his grand entrance in doubt.

^^Like I said, nobody cares. The guy that is holding the pic says it all.
Even perez hilton is hating on both becks & posh -- If people though they would be the saviors of soccer in hollywood, your sadly mistaken.

BECKHAM WILL NOT PLAY - CONFIRMED!!!!
Heard it on the radio. I think it has to do with the field turf instead of grass. They don't want to risk more injury. And i don't blame them...$250 Million for a player and you're going to risk him for 4 more years....no....he plays when he's 100% or close to that. Hope we win tomorrow...Becks will be sitting and listening to the boo bird in T.O.

Somebody needs to tell lombardo he is to slow and needs to bulk up. Abel Xavier was all over him, didn't give him any space.
I think it's time to call up Asante & gonsalves -- We need flare upfront. Tonite there was lack of finishing and not enough players in the box. I believe reda has two good chances but was defended well.
Toronto does not look like a playoff team cause if they were, they would've won by 3 goals to nil.

A great crowd on hand that BMO. It is expected that toronto will have their 8th seelout of the season with 20,522 in attendance.

Lombardo was great...i love that kid., He had some decent chances to score but got unlucky off the goal line save. And his shot that just went wide of the bar was a good chance as well. Andy Welsh had a great chance at the end of the game as well....but it was nice to see Becks sitting there bitting his nails haha
