Hey Guys, We are working on an English Project about the influence of Rock music on teenagers.
Please answer the following questions, it is important that you try to give your honest opinion in every answer.
This Questionnaire is referred to every one in this forum, before answering please mention how old are you and where do you live.

The Questions:

1. Do you like Rock music? Which are your favorite bands?

2. If yes, what makes you like it?
The lyrics, the melody, the emotion or? If other, please mention.

3. Does it affect your life in any way?
The way you look, talk, behave or your beliefs?

4. What is your honest opinion about Emos and other kinds of Rock affected teenagers?

Yes! The used, Dredg, Chevelle, Filter, and 30 Seconds to mars!

2. What makes you like it ? Lyrics/Melody... if other please mention !

The raw, driven, emotion, intense lyrics and you experience a hardcore adrenaline rush everytime they scream.

3. Does it affect your life in any way ?? The way you look/talk/behave/believe .....

When I was a teenager, it affected me. But now I just appreciate the music more. I still crank the music to high level, it's an therapeutic environment for me.

4. What is your honest opinion about those EMO's ( teenagers who are deeply effected by the music they listen to )

EMO is okay but if it helps kids' inspire, I'm all for it. I listen to 'Hillsong United' (Not considered rock, but close), a positive rock band every teen should listen to.

5. Do you like to add something ??

Music is your own experience, your thoughts, your wisdom. If you don't live it, it won't come out of your horn. We all should embrace when times are fragile.

I like ROCK, so I cant live without it. I like: Rammstein, NICKELBACK, Guns n' Roses, Aeroshmit, HIM, RHCP....

Yeah it had effect one short time in my life, but I have shrink back and I am now just a normal boy who is listening ROCK.

They are OK, I have a lot friends like that one on the picture above

Yes I like it alot. I listen to various syles of rock music. My favourite Bands are: Placebo, Rammstein, Limp Bizkit, The Hives, Snot, Dropkick Murphys, Marilyn Manson, Gorillaz, Korn, Kasabian and Beatsteaks

2. What makes you like it ? Lyrics/Melody... if other please mention !

Mainly the melody I would rather listen to a song with bad lyrics and good melody than to a song with good lyrics and bad melody. I would like to add that I favourise songs with good guitars and a strong bass( don't know whether it is the correct english word or not.^^)

Nah not really it's the other way around. I choose the music according to the way I feel. Beatstakes/Dropkick Murphys when happy
Placebo/ Gorillaz when thinkfull
Marilyn Manson/Rammstein when pissed off

i can't stand emos. the whole way they are looking and behaving and most of the music they listen to.

Our Questions :

Do I, I like it more then metal music , which I'm very fond off, I do like them, doesn't necessarily mean I want to be like them or act like them. couple of favs atm - Metallica, Disturbed and classic billy idol.

2. What makes you like it ? Lyrics/Melody... if other please mention !
Not really lyrics, as for most metal song I have absolutely no idea what they are on about, I like the melody, the atmospheres you are in deeply helps to my enjoyment of music in this genre, i.e at a gig or festival, example being with friends at a festival with no limitations greatly improves the enjoyment of this music instead of in a office with your ipod on ...

3. Does it affect your life in any way ?? The way you look/talk/behave/believe ..... It actually doesn't effect atall way I talk or look, nor my believe, behave is different, it can make me act different in society for example hanging with my rocker friends,,,, or hanging with my work colleges , as it's like two different people, I just wouldn't act like a "rocker" when I'm with my work friends, not i'm ashamed, I just wouldn't it just wouldn't make sense... but I don't hide the fact I like rock music either, as I like all music.

4. What is your honest opinion about those EMO's ( teenagers who are deeply effected by the music they listen to )

I don't mind them, just some really depress me, look so sad, want them to cheer up, but I wouldn't treat them any different to anyone else.

nobody is perfect, nor should no one stride to be, if you wanna dress like someone , by all means go for it.. uhh might add to this.

Yes, I'm a big fan of rock music, the heavier type. My favourite bans are Disturbed, Rammstein, Metallica, 30 seconds to Mars, Marylin Manson and Moonspell.

2. What makes you like it ? Lyrics/Melody... if other please mention !

The melody is great and the lyrics are also pretty good. But I mostly love the atmospheres, if you know what I mean. Also love bands that have a top class drummer.

3. Does it affect your life in any way ?? The way you look/talk/behave/believe?

I tend to listen to some really heavy songs whenever I'm in a bad mood. The lyrics of Moonspell and Marylin Manson songs are great when you're pissed off.

4. What is your honest opinion about those EMO's ( teenagers who are deeply effected by the music they listen to )

I don't mind them, just think they are a bit sad to let music deeply effect their lives, when music is just a bunch of people singing some cool lyrics.
