The 20 year old striker/midfielder talent Harnik is wanted by Napoli
Martin Harnik zu SSC Neapel? - Forum: Gerüchteküche - transfermarkt.de
I really hope he won't leave us. He will get more chances in the first team next season and he alot of talent. Too bad he decided to play for Austria and not for Germany.

How are things going on the transfer market?
Klaus Allofs: “There is still an amount to be done there. Kevin Schindler and Kevin Artmann could still be released on loan deals. We’ve already taken that step with John Mosquera.
How realistic is the danger that some of Werder’s young strikers could suddenly find themselves on the wish-lists of top European clubs after Euro 2008?
Klaus Allofs: “That’s the wrong way to think. I hope that every one of our players is noticed and does fantastically at the tournament. That will not harm Werder. They all have contracts with us and we have no intention of letting any of them go.”

Frings can toughen up Gunners
TORSTEN FRINGS is the surprise name on Arsene Wenger’s summer shopping list.
Arsenal manager Wenger fancies the accomplished German midfield star to replace AC Milan-bound Mathieu Flamini.
At 31, Frings is older than Wenger’s usual transfer targets but he would be able to beef up a young Arsenal team still searching for its first trophy after THREE barren years.
Frings is regarded as a versatile midfielder with the grit needed to stand up to the rigours of English football.
He currently plays for Bundlesliga side Werder Bremen but would be available for around £4million.

He won't leave. He already turned down an offer from Juventus last year. He doesn't fit into Wengers style of signings because he is already 31.
4 Million Pound that is insulting. They can have his left leg for that.

Schindler signs loan deal with Hansa Rostock
Werder Bremen’s Kevin Schindler will be going on the hunt for goals in a Hansa Rostock jersey next season. The 20 year old striker, who has a contract with Werder until 2011, will be allowed to leave Bremen on a loan deal until 30.06.2009. On Wednesday morning, Schindler underwent a fitness test in Rostock and later the move was made official.
Werder Bremen’s general manager sees the loan deal as an opportunity for the young striker to develop yet further. On Wednesday afternoon he commented: “In comparison to life in the third division, the challenge posed at an ambitious second division side will help Kevin take a step forward. We consider Kevin to be a massive talent and expect him to return to us even stronger in a year’s time.”

Inter Target Carlos Alberto
Inter Milan are reportedly weighing up a move for Werder Bremen midfielder Carlos Alberto.
Reports coming from the Italian press claim that Inter Milan boss José Mourinho is ready to splash the cash to work with the Brazilian player once again.
Alberto, currently on loan at Botafogo, played under The Special One during his stint at Porto, having been an important piece in the squad that won the Champions League in 2004.
Last week, Mourinho was spotted at the Mineirão stadium during Brazil's World Cup qualifying match against Argentina, and the Portuguese coach mentioned that while Alberto has everything to be a world-class player, he needs to work hard to reach that level.
Werder Bremen do not have any plans for the Brazilian international, who was loaned out twice this season, and would reportedly listen to offers for the 23-year-old midfielder.

I Would Love To Play For Mourinho - Carlos Alberto
Brazilian midfielder Carlos Alberto admits that he would love to join Jose Mourinho at Inter as the Nerazzurri continue their hunt for a midfielder.
The player is owned by German club Werder Bremen but he has been on loan at Brazilian club Botafogo. Reports in Italy have claimed that Inter have been following the midfielder and recently Jose Mourinho was snooping around in Brazil keeping an eye on some players.
The Nerazzurri are currently in the process of strengthening their side and Mourinho has highlited the midfield area as top priority.
Alberto has now revealed that he fancies the idea of playing under the 'Special One'
“I am delighted with the interest from Inter and I see this a something very positive for me,” Alberto told La Gazzetta Dello Sport.
“I have worked with Mourinho in the past and he has always shown great praise for me.
“I don't want to rule out a move to Inter in future but for the moment I am thinking about doing well with Botafogo.”
Inter and Mourinho are currently working to prize Chelsea's Frank Lampard away from Stamford Bridge and towards the San Siro but Alberto could be an alternative if the club fails to persuade the England middle man.

Bischoff On Verge Of Arsenal Move - Report
Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal are set to sign midfielder Amaury Bischoff from Werder Bremen, according to a report in French national newspaper DNA.
The Gunners have reportedly been in keeping tabs on the Werder Bremen ace by attaining regular scouting reports from the Bundesliga club since January, where the club’s interest is said to have originated.
And if Bischoff is to be believed, he will join the Premier League giants within the next few days, after he told DNA that he expects to sign on at the Emirates Stadium in the near future.
“There remain still some details to be finalised,” Bischoff stated.
“And then we have to wait especially the return of Arsene Wenger who is in Vienna for the Euro 2008 finals. But I hope to sign in the next few days”.
21-year-old midfielder Bischoff is eligible to play international football for both France and Portugal. Initially he represented the country of his birth in France’s Under-18 side, before he decided to revert to the nation of mother’s birth, playing at Under-21 level for Portugal.
Bischoff, who is relatively unknown on the world stage, stated that in choosing Portugal he gave himself the best possible chance of playing regular full international football at some point in the future.
Bischoff joined German outfit Bremen in 2005, having only previously played for his youth team, Racing Strasbourg. But despite being on the verge of a move to Arsenal, the youngster has never made a full first-team appearance at the Weserstadion, although he has been a regular for the club’s second team since joining the Bundesliga runners-up.
However the player recently stated that after a string of injury troubles he is now ready to step into the limelight and continue his footballing education under Arsenal manager Wenger, who is renowned for picking up and developing some of Europe’s top young talent.

Now that would be a big surprise.
Although I would find it sad see him leaving but we still have enough midfield talents left.
