At Bayern, he would have to play in the middle along with a DM:
............Owen......Diego
Hamit (?).....................Schweini
Would he be that effective ?

Well, if Diego would come, his arrival wouldn't mean MVB would be benched. MVB will always start. Owen would be benched (if he wouldn't have been transfered to Utd yet).

There was a beautiful bouquet of flowers and a present for Diego to take back to the changing rooms after training. The Brazilian celebrated his 22nd birthday on Wednesday – Congratulations!!!

Diego scored a late goal, in the 90th minute for Bremen, in their 2-0 win over Mainz yesterday.

Diego is amazing, if we don't get van der Vaart, Diego would be almost as good.

Why would Diego leave Bremen for Bayern?
Diego is that type of player that loves to create. He was a bust with Porto.

Tbh I wouldn't be surprise if he rejects a move for Bayern, he is happy at Bremen. He is the start there as well, something he wouldn't be at Bayern, at least not if he transferred now

It's being reported that Juve is following Diego.
I think he'll stay at Bremen at least one more season

Diego On Real Madrid's Radar
Predrag Mijatovic has added Werder Bremen star Diego to his Real Madrid wish list next season and has already made contact with the player's agent.
The Bernabéu club's sporting director has been planning the squad for next season for many weeks and details are beginning to come out about who will come and go in the summer.
A playmaker is a priority for the club and Diego's impressive performances in the Bundesliga this term have attracted the attention of hte wily Serb.
According to a report in Spain, Madrid have already had a meeting in Germany with representatives of the 22-year-old, whose full name is Diego Ribas da Cunha.
The Brazilian international made his name with Santos before holding negotations with several European clubs, who were all keen to land him after an impressive performance for his country in the Copa América in 2004.
With his father insisting that he did not want to England, following interest from Tottenham Hotspur, Diego signed for Porto.
Rumour suggests that his decision to push through the transfer saw his chance of making the World Cup squad last summer as his form under Co Adriaanse dropped.
In May, 2006 he signed a four-year deal with Werder Bremen and has revelled in the open style of the Bundesliga, scoting several outstanding goals and creating many more.
