Got a few questions...
- Can your opponent see what tactic you've chosen?
- What kind of play does the "(E) European" tactic represent?
- Are there any strategy choices that happen automatically, for example subbing off injured players? Also, if my GK gets red carded or injured, does the sub GK automatically get brought in, or do I have to specify that?
- Does the game ignore stuff like rightback/leftback/centerback? Do I need to specify for example that I want Oddo playing on the right, or do I just list him as a defender and that's all?
- Are players' stats visible to all, or only to the "manager" of the squad? Will the squads/stats all be posted somewhere (when you guys get around to that)?
I'm sure I'll think of some more questions later. Thanks in advance for putting up with my nitpicking.

No, you send your teamsheet to the Mod responsible for your league, same as your opponent.

I have no idea Maybe made it up, so he'll explain.

If a GK gets injured, your reserve GK will be brought on. If an outfield player gets injured, a random player is chosen to replace him.
You have to specify on your conditionals when a player gets sent off. Like sub inzaghi if gk gets sent off.

Yeah, you only have to pick the defenders, nvm their sides.

The rosters will be posted on the main page of the forum and all managers can see all the rosters.

Thanks Kahn! Will wait for meccano to explain the "European" thing then. Just one more question about this part...

An outfield player of the same position, or a totally random one? For example, if I want to make it so that an injured striker will be replaced by a striker (not a mid, defender, or GK), is that what happens automatically or do I have to specify that on my conditionals?

Imagine that Oddo got injured and you had Gattuso, Inzaghi, Costacurta, Pirlo and Kalac on the bench. One of Gattuso, Inzaghi, Costacurta and Pirlo would be brought on.
I don't think that there is a conditional for injuries.

there is a conditional for injuries its INJURED...I'll put that in the thread now..
European is a bit of a wild card really, Its good for matches where you think your opponent will just sit back and defend an early lead hoping to hit you on the break.....without giving too much way

I'm not sure where to put this. Can you make a transfer from a team that is not controlled by anyone?? As in I want to buy someone from an English side which hasn't been choosen, will I be able to???

We use the players from the first team of each squad.
Not sure if this is answering your question

there is a slight change to the way conditionals are being constructed guys
when doing substitutions or changing a players position you CANNOT use the players name it has to be the number on which they appear on the TS ie Morfeo is no9 on TS and paponi is no 16
also only the = sign seems to be recognised for conditionals so none of the > or < signs please
kinda makes it easier, just use numbers and the = sign please

K in Tactics...I read that your only allowed to pick 1 style ( ie counter attack european etc ) . What about the defensive style such as pressing or offside trap or containment? Also is there an option to "cage" someone...thinking of future matches with barca or roma lol.

Thanks Kahn and meccano for answering my questions (again).
By the way, I checked out my roster and noticed two players are missing: Valerio Fiori (GK, ITA) and Leandro Grimi (DF, ARG). I don't blame you guys if you've never heard of them, they're not exactly major players. Also Borriello should be ITA rather than BRA.
And if you're not totally sick of listening to my nitpicking yet, I feel like Brocchi's Tk stat should be higher-- despite his attacking qualities he's mostly a DM and Gattuso sub, and has played rightback once or twice. But if you disagree then no worries, it's not life or death.
Other than that, the rosters look great! Really a nice job you've done.
