Sporting Lisbon are interested in signing Independiente keeper for next season, according to paper A Bola published on Monday.
The Portuguese paper stated that agent Marcelo Simonian went to Lisbon last week, might have reached an agreement with Sporting Lisbon officials about keeper Fabian Assmann's arrival in the local team.
A Bola stated Simonian have already met Independiente president Julio Comparada, who might be willing to have talks about the keeper's sale.
Meanwhile, the Argentine team qualified for next Copa Sudamericana following a 1-1 draw against Arsenal last Saturday.
