all i remember about him is a nice goal he scored against Chelsea one time...

he clearly is a player who has talent, despite his problems- but many good young players have failed at barcelona where competition for a spot in the starting lineup is always fierce and they demand top quality performance all the time because they are a club with big ambitions, to go along with the great amount of money and arrogance that club has.

at Sporting, he will have more of a chance to play and he can get comfortable and maybe he can be a key player this season. Hopefully he can follow in the footsteps of past great Argentine strikers at Sporting clube such as Acosta and Yazalde

It is certain we will look in the market for a LB, so Rochemback might be back but I definately think we need a winger, and a offensive MF....maybe the young starlets someone that can create on the wings. Sporting relies heavily on the midfield.

As for purovic, he sucks! Djalo looks to be called back, so I hope he improves and finds the counselling he needs. The only bright spots is vuke, and ismailov....fernerud needs to go and I would ove to see BP given a start.

What should we do?

I thought he would be promoted to the first team from the academy.

LB ? I don't agree, Ronny has been ok and Had was decent in the only match he played (Man Utd). Veloso can also play there.

Agreed that you need a winger, right winger to be more precise. A number you already have -- Moutinho! IMO he is so much better than Romagnoli on that position.

And striker I agree as well, but I think you won't sign one, you'll probably give Paez a few outings instead while you wait for Derlei to get fit
