they played against a team the is off season, let see if they can do it at Maritimo, same thing goes for Benfica at Belenenses

Yeah, The whole point in playing these players is to see where they are. Sure they'll make a mistake or two but it's developing the will to win that's important.
It might take time but it will be worth it. You say, sporting system is running dry, I beg to disagree. People expect us to produce stars every year and that's not gonna happen, It's a transitional period. We don't have a Quaresma, ronaldo, or a nani -- paim was supposed to be the next big star but he got caught in his own world.
I have faith these kids will blossom into their role.

its running dry when you go oversea's and get Ibrahim, Luiz Paez and main others
Bento can't have any patience, he loses a couple games and they will be after his head

Is it his fault? or the players underperforming. The sporting academy will always be strong much like the benfica/porto. Sporting is going overseas cause kids want to be the bets and they know sporting is the right system.

Sporting have the worst. According to an article I read on it, a few weeks ago, Benfica's debt is at about 160m €, Porto's is at around 90m €

According to Soares Franco himself, when he came the debt was at 275m € and he has reduced it 215m € (which is 60m € - a lot of money).
There's also some business with the Camara de Lisboa, which is yet to be settled, once it is, Sporting's debt might lower between 5 to 10m €.
