I was so happy to see the result on Sunday afternoon. Sporting losing 4-0 at anytime is a great thing to see, especially to a crapier team or Porto

Why is this here?
We have no Sporting fans on this forum so why have a forum for them? They aren't talked about much on the forum anyway. I say we change it to a Marítimo forum!!!
Who's with me???!!!!

I've put in a request for a Marítimo forum to be added. Hopefully they will add one soon.

only answer i can come up with is that this forum must be run by a lisbon paper. look it even has there achievements 18 championship bla bla bla. the porto one doesn't even mention that or the international cup, euro supercup, porto nation champs portuguese cup, uefa cup, cl cup ect ect ect just like a lisbon paper would leave out: :

Can Sporting win the league?
I never realised it was so close at the top. Only FOUR points seperate the top two teams with only a few games left to play. So can Sporting pip Porto to this seasons Super Liga title?
Table:
1. Porto 74
2. Sporting 70
3. Benfica 64
Games Left: Porto
Nacional vs. Porto
Beira-Mar vs. Porto
Porto vs. Alverca
Rio Ave vs. Porto
Porto vs. P. Ferreira
Games Left: Sporting
Boavista vs. Sporting
U. Leiria vs. Sporting
Sporting vs. Benfica
V. Guimarães vs. Sporting

no chance they would have to win all four of there games with porto losing at least 2 games remember if portro and sporting end in a tie porto won at home and got a draw in lisbon. and a win on wensday gives porto a seven point lead with four games to play meaning all porto would need to do is win 1 and draw one and the rest is meaningless

porto has 74 points wins in three of there last five would give them 83 points
sporting winning all there games would get a max of 82 point
the real question is could this be another treble year
league, cup, CL oh yeah what a triple crown that would be

Sporting Official rumors and transfers thread
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Brazilian Fabio Pinto 23 year old, playing for Gremio of Porto Alegre, who already played in Europe, and with a Italian Passport, closed to sign with Sporting
Sporting had a lot success with this year brazilians, Liedson with 14 goals, Rochemback, Silva, Tinga, Polga, so expect at least 3 more before the starter of next season

Sporting USA tirp
Sporting study the contracts coming out of the USA. Sporting are interested because of the cachet, but not happy they will finish the season late, and because Sporting will enter the CL early in the third leg of the competion,
In case they will make the trip they will be in the US for 13 days, leaving Lisbon on the 10 of May and returning on the 23 of May
4 games
12 of May in San Jose against the Earthquakes
15 in Providence against the friendly Stingrays
19 May em Foxboro against the New England Revolution
22 May in Ludlow against the Western Mass Pioneers
Sporting will be missing the players playing on the U 21 and the one's with the Portuguese national team Euro 04
but they will bring top players like brazilians, Pistoleiro Silva, the surprise of the portuguese league Liedson 14 goals, Polga, international players like Quiroga [argentina], Telllo, believe from Chile, ex portuguese international players in top form JOAO PINTO, PEDRO BARBOSA, PEDRO BENTO, PAULO BENTO
without goalkeeper Ricardo, they still got Tiago and Nelson
without the U21 they still got the best youth players coming out of the portuguese youth leagues
