Spain better win, or I would consider them overrated.

a win is a must. they can't lose home points. denmark are not easy though.

fernando torres recovered from his injury, why not calling him??
I don't trust guiza tbh. I'd rather take raul.
luis garcia is at a better form that guiza atm.

I don't understand this pick.

the best two teams of group 6 face off in el bernabeau. a great match expected. spain impressed in their last euro-qualifyer match but looked very average in a friendly against north-ireland some days after.
the winner of this match will qualify to the euro!
a win for sweden will promise them the 1st place.

do you mean if spain don't win they won't qualify?
I also don't understand why torres isn't there

no mate. spain have 2 games left (including this one) and they are 5 points away from denmark who are 3rd. so one win would be enough. but if they want to qualify from first place they have to win this (I don't know what importance 1st or 2nd place have, but...).
btw, there is a sticky thread above this one that has the table of the group and the fixtures. I spend alot of time editing it. :S

bernd schuster was praising guiza after he got called for the first time to the NT. schuster was guiza's coach in getafe last year. he says guiza deserves to be in the NT.

oh thanks for clearing that up

are you saying this as the reason why torres is not there?
torres is much more reliable atm.. he has alot of experience & quality. maybe it is the fact he is recovering from a minor injury but tbh he has shown he's fine with his goal against fulham today

no no, I was saying this just as "match preview news" thats all... just quoting schuster. (was about to post this in a separate post but I inserted it in the answer to you)

torres is another class to guiza. but torres is not on form yet, thats why aragunies didn't call him.
I said it earlier, I would prefer to call someone like luis garcia and not guiza...

Goal.com - Euro 2008 - Euro Qualifying Preview: Spain - Sweden

Goal.com Match Preview.

Spain are second with 22 points and Sweden are first with 23 points. The winner of this may decide the group leader. Spain have qualified unless they lose their last 2 and Denmark win their last 2.

Spain will probably play a 4-5-1 with 1 DM, 2 CM'S, 2 Wingers and David Villa as the lone striker.

Villa was the man today. Nice pass to iniesta, they played some beautiful futebol.

Ramos scored off a CK, pretty routine indeed. But Villa was the star, he's start to mature as a player.

He scored off a deflection, and kicked it in!

This is the way spain should play.
