The U20 NT is making a splash, probably the best team in the WC next to the Argies.

In the U-20's Spain will probably get to the final where they'll meet probably either Argentina or Mexico who play each other in the Quarters.

The generation before this one is actually the strongest youth team so in 3 years or so Spain will probably be the favourites to take all.

I'm Just disappointed Bueno isn't getting enough playing time. He is to good of a talent to be sitting in the bench.

Maybe the next Raul in the making.

Spain U-20's have suffered a shock defeat to the Czech Republic in the Quarters and are now out.

I didn't see the game but it finished 1-1 and went into penalties where Marc Valiente (Barca CB) missed a penalty and so did Pique (ex-Barca CB), while the Czech's scored all of theirs.

Maybe slightly bitterly the Spanish headlines have read that Anti-Football won.

Brazil lost, Portugal lost, Spain lost - I would say there is a new transistion of power.

Teams like the Czechs play more patient where as appose to the flashy teams take more risks. I saw the game and Spain wasn't themselves. I think they looked tired running while the other team played well marking there man.

Bueno didn't play in the full 90. He would've made a difference.

Well Pique isn't Barca, in fact he's a Barca traitor

I really hope Mexico wins this cup, they've really shone on me.

Since the turn of the century we've seen more and more unfashionable and primarily defensive teams doing well in cups and winning trophies. The attacking teams will have to learn to be more disciplined and well rounded.

I'd say Argentina are able to attack so well at the moment because they're letting Riquelme having a free role behind the front 2 but they've got 3 disciplined players behind him in Cambiasso, Mascherano and Veron (he's been good at CM) to do the defensive work and get the ball to him. The wingbacks are also not gung-ho wingbacks and don't get caught out. You could say that this with the good form of the team and the fact that they've not come up against anyone particularly difficult (a team with DM's and CB's that cut out the supply of Riquelme, Messi and now Tevez) are why they're looking so good at the Copa I think.

Dunga obviously read my post here about what will stop Argentina's attack. I think he'll have to owe me a few pesetas for this or just let me take the Brazil job with his reputation intact.

He had 7 players behind the ball for a lot of the game and 2-3 in midfield tracking back to limit Riquelme's space, Argentina didn't get through often and luckily wasted every freekick they got. All of Brazil's goals came of a counter-attack and their finishing was fantastic considering they scored 3 and I only remember them having about 4 shots.
