Same here, missed the last 2 weeks. Due to my lack of time lately i only check my subscribed threads (= all threads where i have posted), no more. That's why i missed those prediction threads, i hadn't posted in those before

I understand that Podolski / lionel don't remind anyone though, not a problem at all

can we give anyone who doesn't post a prediction the minimum score of those who posted - minus 1 - ?
like... in week 10, the minimal score was 5... so trim/podolski/blaugrana/... get 4 points added in this week.
and we can also make a "new participator" in the list who gets the minimum -1 points every week and then if someone wants to join the game he gets to start with this number of points...

those who understood me... is that a good idea?

What about simply counting the best scores?

For instance, if we predict 30 weeks, we will count the best 25 scores of every participator. That way, you can miss 5 weeks without having a big disadvantage.

fine, but I like the other option more.

other option is to calculate the average for everybody:
to devide the total score by the number of weeks he participated in.

I think -2/3 is more fair.
And, for a new participater, how about - 15 points from the person bottom at the league?
