TS La Liga Team Of The Year
Much names in La Liga, but IMO:
Keeper: Roberto Abbondanzieri , Getafe (15 matches in La Liga without goal against for small Getafe. None big errors)
Defenders:
Jose Enrique, Villarreal (Messi, Robinho, Joaquin, etc...no problems with them. Big breakthrough this season)
Sergio Ramos, Real Madrid (Just 21 and what a performance this season. More to come)
Ezequiel Garay, Racing Santander ( This is gold. Quality defender and will perhaps be sold this summer to a big gun)
Daniel Alves, Sevilla (Fantastic season)
Midfielders:
Christian Poulsen, Sevilla (invisible for many but perhaps 'buy of the year' in La Liga. The main motor for Sevilla, who have won three titles this season)
David Silva, Valencia (Breakthorugh this season and is already in the national team for Spain. Unscared midfielder and coming star)
Francisco Javier Casquero, Getafe (The best offensive midfielder in La Liga after Christmas?)
Santi Cazorla, Recerativo de Huelva (The one with most assist this season. Very good player with a good "football head" Just 22 years old.
Strikers:
Ruud Van Nistelrooy, Real Madrid (Best striker and goal machine in La Liga this season. Maybe the main key for Madrids success.
Diego Millito, Real Zaragoza (Fantastic striker. Finally in Argentinas squad.)
I have not forgot players like Ronaldinho, Robinho, Messi, Diarra, Casillas etc...but for example Ronaldinho can do better...and when we compare some things, I liked to set up those players I elected.

My team of year from what I saw.
Unlucky Messi because he was injured I'm not gonna add him.
Keeper
Kameni - just pipping Iker, I though Kameni was good all year in cup and league.
Defence
Miguel Torres - really came through this year , impressed me on many games.
Danni Alves - no explanaion needed.
Ezequiel Garay - was brillaint, I expect him to move on higher, after great season.
Ramos - such temper and fire, really is great versitile defender, deffently deserves a spot.
Poulson - Sevilla were best team this year , playing best football, this guy did all the dirty work, fantastic season.
Beckham - I guess you have to have him, he was great after xmas, Real went on 17 games unbeaten. Fantastic send off.
Jesus Navas - was brillant, really made La liga excting this season.
Ronaldinho - He went missing in patches, but still did excellent in production and leading barce.
RVN - La liga best buy this season, the leading goal scorer, fantastic.
Forlan - he just beats Milito, he was the reason along with Pires, his team ended season on par with Real, scoring his goals, doing it well, shame this hole team went missing from start to xmas all they would of been title threats.
Manager - Juande Ramos, no quesion, just beating Ben Shauster from Getafe.

sorry, but I hate this player so much, that even if he scores 100 goals in 1 season, I won't put him in my team.
but anyway, imo, he isn't a quality player, 80% of the goals he scored where a result of beckhams amazing assists, so even putting my grndmother instead of him she would have scores. but that's just my opinion.

Its just a myth that RvN scored on Becks inlays. Becks was injured in almost half of the season and only had a few assist to Nistelrooys 26 goals this season.

Keeper: Pato Abbondanzieri
Defence: Dani Alves, Puyol, Sergio Ramos, Gaby Milito (instead of picking a LB I'd take Milito who's been solid all season, 2nd highest tackle ratio and earning a £12m move to Real or Juve this summer)
Midfielders: Messi, Poulsen, Iniesta, David Silva
Strikers: Ruud, Diego Milito
Other notable mentions......
David Villa (Despite not being on top of his game for the whole season he got 16 goals and 10 assists, 6th in Pichichi and equal top on assists)
Fredi Kanoute (Great season, Sevilla's dependent goalscorer)
Alexis (20 year old CB, One season at Getafe earned him interest from Real and Valencia, will move to Valencia for £4m next season)
Zeek Garay (20 year old CB again, 10 goals although 9 were penalties has earned rave reviews this season)
Albelda (Ever solid in midfield for Valencia while everyone around him crumbled with bad form or injuries)
Raul Albiol (Another solid Valencia player, only 21 and already one of their most important players)
Sinama Pongolle (11 or so goals for Recre elevated them quite high)
Soldado (Same as Pongolle, scored about 12 to save Osasuna from the drop)
Munitis (3rd highest assist tally in La Liga, good combination with Zigic in little and large)
Diogo (I didn't see him much apart from highlights but he's gotten some good reviews from people who regularly watch him)
D'allesandro/Aimar/Zapater (All been great this season, key to Zara's success).
Also Morientes 1st half of the season and Beckham's 2nd half. Also well done to Joaquin and Forlan for being shite for 3/4 of the season and amazing for the last 1/4

So true, I hope Joaquin keeps it up next season, I still think him and Vicente can be most deadliest winger combination in europe.
Btw is Garay gonna pick Spain or Argintina for National service?
and will he move?

Sorry I didn't see this. Garay I'd imagine would pick Argentina although I didn't know there was a consideration for it. He will definately leave Racing in the next year or so, he's a talent too big for Racing Santander. He was linked to Manchester United a bit back but him moving this summer will all come down to new coach Marcelino and if he can develop him if he stays or if he will sell him if a good offer comes in.

So far the TS La Liga team of the season is......
--------------------------------------- Pato Abbondanzieri (4)
- Dani Alves (6) ------ Sergio Ramos (6) ----- Carles Puyol (3) ------ Eze Garay (4)
-- Leo Messi (3) ------------------ Christian Poulsen (4) -------- David Silva (5)
--------------------Ruud Van Nistelrooy (4) ----- Diego Milito (5)
The votes in brackets.
Beckham, Ronaldinho, Miguel Torres, Jesus Navas, Kanoute all got 2 votes so if someone else does a team then maybe it will split who the last player in the 11 would be.

Give it to Jesus Navas , really does deserve it, though Ronaldinho did better in scoring and assist, Navas really lightened up the Liga during November to January where La Liga got bit boring for me , he was a bright spark.

all the four are great (except torres) and can't be left out.
but my desicion will be david beckham. I can't believe he was left out.
becks was the best player of the season. the best real madrid player. the player that won la liga by himself!! I think people still have in mind his previous years at real.
(give it to becks )
