Default David Prutton

Apparently we've signed him for £250,000 from Saints. He is a decent player but another central midfielder, which seems strange when we have Mahon, Bangura, Williamson, Francis, Spring all capable of playing there in the Premiership (well maybe not Francis, but you get my point).

Spring to move on then, shame I thought he was class last season, first time since Nielsen that we've had a goalscoring midfielder.

he's out of contract in the summer so if Prutton wants a move and we bid £250k they will take it surely?

Anyways it's not official yet so I believe it when I see it

According to the BBC, Southampton have accepted a bid from an un-named club for Prutton.

The BBC have just updated the article. The un named club is indeed Hull.

and T.A.L says I post rubbish info. I will continue to prove that idiot wrong!

Is he any good though? Alot of injuries and suspensions have halted him the last year I believe?

He's a good passer of the ball, something Watford desperatley need thats if we are actually interested in him.

Southampton manager George Burley does not want David Prutton to leave the club in January.

Prutton's hometown club Hull have been linked with a £400,000 bid for the midfielder, who is out of contract in the summer.

But Burley is keen to keep the 25-year-old at St Mary's and remains hopeful a new deal can still be agreed.

"We've got interest from clubs about a number of our players and David is one, but we're looking to keep David," Burley told the Southern Daily Echo.

"We know he is out of contract in the summer but we're looking to keep him and see how it goes."

At least I had a source...Now Southampton have accept a offer from Hull after reject their first bid.

who? not prutty, that's for sure. the guy has shown practically zero footballing skill in his time with us. just a bag of energy with a tendency to pick up suspensions.
