Danny Wallace who was a Saints legend played for the club from the age of 16 - til he was transfered to Manure for £1m in 1990 . Along with his two other brothers made history by becoming the first set of family members to play in the same team at the same time ....... Danny now sufferes from MS , which most people suporting Saints are well a ware of ..

Saints granted Danny a benefit game / Testimonial game ,, where Saints players of today played a All star team of England players and ex Saints and Manure players ...
All proceeds went to the Danny Wallace MS fund that he has set up.

The report said in a nutshell that :
The player and the paper claim they have not recieved any money from that game estimated at £100k and that Saints charged them £57k to staged the event .. this event was 2yrs ago ..
The article was aimed at Our Beloved Wupert Lowe chairman ..

Just reading the clubs statement from the O/S ..
They claim that Dannys Agents/ organisers have the money from the game and that they were well aware that the club has to charge this amount to stage any event at St Marys ..
The club was hurt by these comments and insists that they were never in the wrong to charge for this event ..

Does this mean another shocking embaressment at my beloved club ..
