The coach of the Paraguayan selection, Uruguayan Aníbal "Maño" Ruiz, today revealed the list of the 23 players that will dispute the World cup 2006 in Germany, without more surprises in regards to the previous estimates. Only five of the 23 footballers mentioned play in Paraguay.

What could be considered a novelty is the convocation of attacker Nelson "Pipino" Cuevas, of Mexico's Pachuca instead of "Tiger" Caesar Ramírez (Flamengo, BRA) that had participated in several trial matches after the world cup classification.
