I t looks as if Benfica are after a bunch of other clubs rejects..It's better to spend the money on one good player and build a team around this player..It's apparent that Benfica are not willing to spend the money, but buy a bunch of guys that will never play.Rodriguez is not worth the effort and even though he will come free you must ask the question why PSG release this player.

O Benfica está a tentar a contratação do defesa-central português Nunes, que representa o Maiorca. Nesta altura, Pedro de Felipe, empresário que está a intermediar o negócio, já se encontra na cidade de Palma, onde estão a decorrer negociações no sentido de fechar o negócio.

O defesa português tem 30 anos e depois de se ter notabilizado em Portugal ao serviço do Sporting de Braga, transferiu-se para o clube espanhol a meio da temporada de 2005/06. No Maiorca, Nunes impôs-se facilmente na equipa e é um dos indiscutíveis titulares, tendo disputado 35 partidas na última Liga espanhola. Talvez por isso, quando o FC Porto manifestou interesse em contratá-lo, este defeso, o emblema das baleares pediu quatro milhões de euros pelo seu passe. As negociações entre o representante das águias e Vicenç Grande Garau, presidente do Maiorca, deverão prosseguir no dia de hoje, sabendo-se que o Benfica tem urgência em contratar o quanto antes um defesa-central. Aliás, ainda ontem José António Camacho deixou bem claro que essa é a principal prioridade do clube.
