yes I know it isn't done yet.. because benfica has already refused similar offers.. and besides.. they way he is playing i dont really think he is going to leave benfica.
In my opinion he is benfica's best player right now!

They can purchase only 50% :P

I agree,

Benfica should go after the other 50 percent, it will be a good investment, next season he can move to a top team for a lot more
sometimes it pays to wait

Pauleta might be available for a transfer and I think it will be worth picking up for Benfica..Nuno Gomes has lost his touch and will all the negative feeling about Pauleta in big tournaments for the national team he is still a great goal scorer for his club..Benfica need to get some experience players and if they don't I predict they will finish in 4th place...

The two players from Atletico Madrid might be Ze Castro and Costinha considering that both guys where left off Atletico UEFA Cup lineup...Ze Castro will be a great pickup and Costinha will bring more big game experience to Benfica...

ok, so I've been in denial about Fernandes leaving and all of that but I've finally decided to do some research to see if the deal was finalized. All the sites I've stumbled on indicate that everton put in an offer but no where does it say that the transfer is complete.

Is it taking a while because of the third party ownership mess or is the deal stalling?

anyone have more info?
