Seems a bit too much, 3 millions on a player that IMO hasn't proven himself yet.
I would had tried a season loan with an option to buy, would be a safer deal for Benfica.

You never know, might work out. At least its not another keeper. lol. Lets face it people. We are not going to sign a top level (expensive) striker. We can not afford it and they dont want to come to us. Therefore we are left to take chances with young players such as this. We need to do something at our striker position and at least they are trying.

this kid is a copy of Jardel - he can score 20 goals in the portuguese liga
remember at Beira-Mar he had nobody to cross the ball, still score 6 goals in 13 games

Very good signing if it happens. He saved Biera Mar at times. Potential is high in Benfica with help around him. Good build, good head on his shoulders, young & talented.

This is great for Benfica.Great signing.I hope this guy is like Jardel was.I remember when Jardel scored those 40+ goals.
proved hugely successful to Jardel - he scored 42 goals in 30 games, and Sporting won both the Primeira Liga and the Portuguese Cup. He wins also the Prize "Player of the Year" by the Portuguese newspaper Record.
