the greatest thing for me about Adu being in the MLS is the greater amount of TV coverage..hell there was 3 games televised saturday..................awsum

I don't think he is DC's answer Frank. He's talented, but still only 14 (or 15 soon). There is no need to place DC's season on his shoulders.

its time to build the team around Adu, if you going to lose might well lose with Adu in the lineup, soon will starter to lose some of the fans the come out to see him play, in NJ they went from 31,000 plus to see him play to 8,000 plus in the second game with rival New England

Yeah, but if the MLS ruins him then there is no Freddy Adu to aid US Soccer and the MLS long term. I don't think he should be used as a short term fix for league wide problems.
I bet the Sunday afternoon time didn't help attendance. Adu and DC United weren't playing so he really had no impact on Metro fans showing up or not.
All just my opinion and so not worth much -- just throwing it out. And I mean NO OFFENSE to you Frank -- we just happen not to agree on the subject.
