Leo had a good game yesterday. I have mixed feelings about keeping him at his age when the team is going youth. If they do keep him, I would not be disappointed though. Where does Rui stand on Rodrigues ? There is a player with a bright future. Has Rui commented on him ? If not, why not ?

We can argue that he may become worth that kind of money. He can do it all Frank. If we dont pay to keep our young stars, then our team will always be weak. We dont want to pay him 2 million a year, but then we will go out and spend 12 million purchasing new cheaper players every year. How about we just pay good money to the good young players and use the money that we save on not having to purchase new players............

we just took the words out of Rui Costa

talking about Leo and C Rodriguez
  abola.pt - «A BOLA on-line»

Benfica

If he can do this, then Benfica has made a very important change . I am very happy and grateful to Rui if he can do this. This is the kind of forward thinking that we need to have at this club. He is proving to be very smart. Now lets see if management support his views and finance what he wants to do. Soccer in Portugal is in big trouble. If teams like Portugal do not go back to be respectful then fan attendance will get worse............

That was a horrible tackle.

I hope Rui can revamp Benfica from the youth teams up, but I have a feeling that POLITICS will probably get in his way.

I think Rui has started with the right idea. Similar to Ajax and Barça keep the same formation throughout the whole organization.

He can do it with the help of Quieroz if we're lucky and smart enough to sign him.

I'm here man!
