He will probably be a good soccer player if he can show the same class as his father.

we could still use Rui Costa, by far our best #10
#7 we got a lot of players the can perform that position, but #10 that's a different story

I really beleie the best thing for Portugal, is for Rui Costa to have one last tournament at euro 2008 and be the captain of the team.

I think so Frank, even though im a sporting fan.. Rui Costa is amazing my fav player ever alongside luis figo. The way he plays is great to watch superb technique vision and he can pass the ball better than anybody on the planet.

when Benfica came to watch Toronto FC, I brought my Portugal Red 10 rui costa jersey and he signed it and he was signing all the fans things.

I agree that Rui Costa was an amazing player, but there are better passers of the ball today. He may have been up there when he was in his prime, but today there are many better passers, vision, technique, etc.

Well I dont think so he was the best at splitting the D with through balls in the world.

one of the last true #10 playmakers, he just doenst get enough recognition because he went through some goal-scoring droughts in his career.

Rui Costa close to 36, was the fatest player of the Benfica vs Pacos Ferreira game
cover of
OJOGO ONLINE

Um 10 a correr pela história
FILIPE PEDRAS

Euro 08 the importance of having Rui Costa would be tremendous, let's not forget the experience he would bring to the young players
just check what Nene did before he retired from the national team
2 goals vs Italy -Nene "Mr Clean" /22 goals with the national team/473 goals
