Marco has more potential but last I heard they took the Dani route and went into modelling.

Which unknown player would you Classify as "Talented"?

You never know who win pan out, Look at Carlos martin? Problem is in the work ethic and the will to be a Good Player. Alot of expectations riding on these kids. Much like David Caiado, You I think has potential, frank thinks he's nothin more.

If you don't have those attributes your not a Going to succeed. Ronaldo came out of nowhere and look where he is now, He is a hardworker nd wants to win while someone like Viana is lazy as hell.

"unknown" is a tough word. Do you mean "unknown" as a player that plays in a youth system? or in a lower league?...or even abroad? In the case of a youth system, Rui Pedro and Castro of FC Porto are examples of great players. In a lower league I would mention Geromel of Vitória Guimarães...lower than that...It's hard to get a reasonable notion...I'm not a pro! Abroad: Gélson Fernandes of Sion and Damien da Silva of Niort...

If "unknown" means out of that mainstream of the top clubs in Portugal...I like Antunes of Paços, T. Gomes of Estrela (not the overhyped LB of Benfica...the miedfielder), Amorim of Belenenses, Cris of Feirense, and some more that i won't reveal

Martins needs a coach that disciplines his attitude. He has always been a talent, but he has been too spoiled in Sporting (it's now that i'll be receiving harsh criticism by attacking the second most holiest thing in Portugal after Fátima: Sporting's academy!). He has always been a talent, and Sporting/media always shown him off. And that's what Carlos Martins became...a kid with his head filled with complements and adjectives for being oh so fantastic since a young age. Sporting should have protect him for that torrent of complements.

You can't compare Ronaldo with Viana. A lazy Ronaldo would always be better than a hipperactive Viana! Ronaldo is far above in the "talent scale"...

are you guys surprise? Coentrao just got back from London where he trained the whole week with Chelsea

No, not surprised. After such media exposure...even Chelsea wanted to sniff what caused such a "publicity". sooner or later they will realize that every U-21 or less linked to Sporting is suddenly tagged as the new God of football.

Drago, You make me laugh. This kid is all hype, til we actually see him produce.

Carrico & Silva are for real. Rui Patricio is Going to take over Ricardo's spot in the future. As for Paim, I dunnot know how productive he will be with all his injuries. He needs to work out more and rely on conditioning.
