The bottom line is that according to British esquire Lisbon is becoming one of the trendiest city in the world. The way I look at it Miccoli was looking for a change of envirnoment and it's a little difficult playing in italy especially with the way the fans react to their soccer. Sicily is a very beautiful place, but I feel that when everything is done Miccoli will be playing for Benfica.

Lisbon is an amazing city. While in Torino, where Juve is from, many of the reporters from the Olympics were saying how there is really nothing beautifull about it. Lisbon is a true city for an Italian like Mi-Mi-Micoli.

It's funny because my last visit to Lisbon was this past summer and my son would constantly drag my wife and I to the hard rock cafe on the ave. Liberdade. I love that place even though it's american, but the super bock was amazing. I love Lisbon because it has become such a cosmopolitan city, but at the same time all my favorite places are still there. The cafe at the Ritz hotel have great pizza, expresso at cafe Ipanema, and of course crazy nuts cafe. On the subject of Miccoli he must be crazy to leave Lisbon for Palermo..

Nice description. I also enjoy the Churos with hot chocolate sitting at the Docas near the river, just relaxing with Cristo Rei in the distance. Later on heading to The Kremlin nightclub, Queens club, and my favorite Lux, Armazen H. Someones should start a thread about the hot destinations of Portugal.

I also loved hanging out at the hot club listening to some great jazz..That tread idea is really cool.

I only go to Portugal 2 Times year to visit relatives in Sao Miguel and When Im there I always try to visit Lisbon but get stuck loking at the Scenery with my Girl.

I love the villages and nature its a refreshing look at life even Sete Cidades.

Hey, My family is from sao Miguel too. My mother from Vila Franca.
