Default REYES a 8 vs Napoli

Apparently Reyes is close to moving to Benfica.
:.: Jornal Record :.:

Great signing if it's true, I think he is a class player, but was never used properly at Arsenal or Atletico.

I also think he would be great for Benfica. They kept talking about him during the game and Quique Flores said a little about it but I couldn't catch it. This was probably the reason why Rui Costa wasn't at the game.

Reyes can be played as a left winger or a Striker, at Benfica I could see him being used mostly as a striker. But the wings are a little weak, its up to Quique Flores.

Edit: If the signing goes through as reported this may be helped by the Simao deal where we were promised a player or two.

It seems that it's official and to tell you the truth this really blew me away. Benfica are starting to look really good on paper but lets hope they can play on the field.

All the papers are reporting similarly stories stating that a year long loan deal between the clubs has been agreed upon with an undisclosed price at the end if Benfica wish to pay so.

Everything is set except the personal terms which should be set when Reyes reportedly arrives in Lisbon on Wednesday.

Some bright news would be the fact the Atletico played a friendly today and Reyes didn't leave the bench. Most likely a sign that he is leaving to Benfica.

This was a real nice pick up for Benfica and hopefully they can get Tiago on loan from Juventus.

Good move by Benfica, we really need a trinco now, if Katso leaves.

Tiago is not really a trinco but I rather have him then Martin's in our squad.

Reyes deal is officially done: Sport Lisboa e Benfica

Reports state that Reyes is coming on a one year loan to Benfica.
Benfica have also included a purchase clause for the player in the region of 8 million euros.
Another part of the deal is the fact that Benfica have bought 25 percent of the players rights for 2.65 million euros. This could very well be a sign that Reyes will be a permanent edition.

This is a great signing if Reyes can get back to anywhere near the level he played at before.

A lot of factors played into this transfer, Rui Costa's work, Quique Flores as a manager and Simao's advice and talks which have been reported by the papers.

Reyes was presented to the fans last night and is going to wear Petit's old numer, 6. He stated that the fans can expect the best from him and he wants to win titles with Benfica, such as the championship.

Reyes also commented on what he believed to be a great move. He stated that coming to Benfica was certainly not a step backwards and that the club impressed him. He loved the support and feels at home and said Benfica is like Real Madrid and would be a successful team even if they were in the Spanish league.

Some of the comments may be over the top but if you are a Benfica fan these are still good things you want to hear you're new signing say.

Reyes' paperwork did not come in time and he is not registered to play the first match in the Liga Sagres. He will, however, be able to play in the second round if all goes to plan, against Porto, not a bad game to debut in.

great goal by the spanish international
:.: Jornal Record :.:

very important goal,

Reyes: «Senti a maior alegria do mundo...»

Neste momento sinto-me o homem mais feliz do mundo."

Look at Reyes, giving his jersey to the son of Rui Costa.

Reyes has surpassed my expectation up to this point in the season and I've always been a fan of him, I couldn't believe we actually got him. He is a great player to watch on the field, runs at players and plays with heart.

Reyes was the star with a 8

A ESTRELA

Reyes 8

Cofre arrombado
