Everyone talks about Benfica selling Simao and Fernandes, but look at how many great players that Porto sold. They always sell great players, but bring even better players to replace them. Benfica has some serious problems because they don't have any player to build their team around. Atleast Sporting has a great youth system.

I agree with verde rubro, he just don't fit with Benfica

both Makukula and Cardozo got lost

since he came in, Adu didn't have any tim, and Benfica went straight down

Benfica need to clean house from top to bottom. They should bring back all their loan players and get rid of all the crap they sign this past season. Pereira, Rodriguez, DiMaria,Binya,and Sepsis need to find new clubs..Benfica should also sell Cardoza and try to get themselves a decent playmaker.

It's a sad day for all Benfica fans especially after Lisandro celebration after the first goal..Benfica fans need to show their disapproval by refusing to renew their memberships and by not showing up for the next home match. The New Jersey Devils are tight with money, but they always have quality teams.

The positive thing is that Benfica are signing homegrown talent. I just need to see Benfica show some commitment to these guys . In the past Benfica bought players like Fabio and Miguelito, but never gave them playing time.
