I'm taking a few months off from watching football..I'll watch a few matches especially the Champions League final, but this past season has been a disaster. Benfica and Sporting really let their fans down and I'm especially disappointed with Benfica for the assembly of this useless squad. My main attention will be the Stanley Cup playoffs until the Euro 2008 competition begins in June..I just hope this unfortunate season doesn't rub off on our National team.

don't expect Portugal to do much we just don't have a team the can play's together, we can't move C Ronaldo to the left so we can accomodate Quaresma on the lineup.
No left defender, our defensived midfielders are questionable, a goalkeeper the seats on the Betis bench we are in trouble.

for Benfica we paying for letting Fernando Santos go after one game, when we keep our secreat weapon on Freddy Adu out of the roster because he doesn't speak spanish, then we are a team sinking to the bottom, and Di Maria just sinking with the ship

Benfica ratings for the game
0-5

Quim with a 3 was the best Benfica player on the field

OJOGO ONLINE

O Benfica um a um
Só Quim se salvou
ANTÓNIO PIRES

3 Quim

Esteve desconcentrado, precipitado e desastrado no passe, revelando ainda enorme passividade no lance do 0-3.
