My father said the exact same thing, at least when F.Santos was around, Benfica played some decent football and the Estadio da Luz was a fortress, now it's easier to beat you there than when you visit other stadiums. Shocking if you ask me.

That would be pretty fucked up for Benfica if it happens, Adu is already a fan favorite and he proved why on the very few chances he had to play.
He scored many important last minute goals, whereas the likes of Di Maria take 5 shots for 1 to hit the target, let alone put the ball in the back of the net.

You need a complete revamp in your squad, too many average players and the good ones aren't being used.

LFV and Chalana are blaming the ref, yes there was a penalty for Benfica when Mateus fouled Leo, but if we go by that, there was also a penalty for Boavista in the first half when Nelson used his arm inside the box.

Blaming the ref is the easier way out, when you don't want to admit your own mistakes. That's the bottom line. And until that continues, you'll never be the great club you were in the past.
