Benfica were completely outplayed by us in the first-half, we were far superior in every aspect of the game. In the second-half, Benfica had more possession and tried to create chances, but don't be fooled by the numbers, Benfica dominated not because they pressed a lot in search of a goal, but bceause Porto let them take control and then hit them on the counterattacks.

It took Camacho a long while to make his subs I thought, Di Maria was needed a lot earlier as your right flank never really worked with Maxi. Also, Cardozo didn't bring much to the game and Nuno Gomes shouldn't had been subbed off IMO, he was your main threat.
Rodriguez also didn't have a good game, neither did Katsouranis, plus Rui Costa was very well marked by P.Assunçao and that really hurt you.

Ratings:
Quim - 7
L.Filipe - 6
Luisao - 5
D.Luiz - 5
Leo - 5
Petit - 5
Katsouranis - 4
Maxi - 4
Rodriguez - 5
Rui Costa - 7
Nuno Gomes - 6

Adu - 5
Cardozo - 3
Di Maria - 4

I'm happy

Hope you re-group and beat Shaktar though, we really need the points for the rankings

Ricardo Quaresma: forever a Porto legend. Thank you for all the memories.

Congrtas to Porto, I tuned into the game just in time to see Quaresma's goal. Fantastic goal. This is Benfica's first home loss since Braga beat them 3-1

Benfica really gave away silly passes in the middle of the field. You paid for your bad passes with Katsouranis loosing the ball in the middle of the park. But great pass by lucho to quaresma, i thought he was going to tackled lol

Porto owned benfica, but then Jesualdo went defensive and just ended up inviting the pressure late in the game.

1. Benfica vs FC Porto,
2. Benfica vs Guimarães
3. Porto vs Sporting
4. Benfica vs Sporting
5. Benfica vs Maritimo

Belenenses and Naval in last place
:.: Jornal Record :.:
