Maybe I don't know much on Benfica, but I would have given it to Nuno Gomes. I think the decision to give the armband to him is quite fair.
Could have gone to Petit as stated, or even Rui Costa, but he doesn't play much eh?

An argument can definitely be made for giving it to Petit. Whether he wears the armband or not, I think Petit is recognized as a leader by the team. Giving Nuno the armband might be a smart move though. You give a guy, who up until this point has been pretty one dimensional, a little more responsibility and he might step his game up a little more.

Manuel Jose team very hard place to pull a win
a couple months ago Barcelona did win big, but Manuel Jose played with the second team, he had a African CL within a couple days
this men going down as one of our best coach's outside of Portugal, not many could do what he does special on the African continent
