Please let Porto take on Valencia. Frank, I watched this team performance in the previous matches and they stink. They look lost and I see holes in there defence.
If somehow Porto can exploit that with Quaresma or Postiga, I see them winning 2-0.

"Well, that was fun... in a fuckin' terrible, sick, not-at-all-fun way."
Ricardo Quaresma: forever a Porto legend. Thank you for all the memories.

If Uefa had their way they would rather see Benfica in the Champions league and Celtic in the UEFA Cup..Portuguese football is probably the most entertaining and beautiful to watch.

Im not so sure. They are mostly concerned about money, which means how much revenue is drawn by viewership. Portugal (although a great soccer nation) is a small nation wich draws small viewership. I do agree though that for pure soccer fans, Benfica not being in the CL is a loss. Still, Im really looking forward to watching Benfica in the Uefa. Im really getting excited about our chances. I think we have as good a chance as anyone else in this .

I couldn't agree with you more. The uefa cup presents a situation in which Benfica could make a big run or possibily win the tournament. I couldn't see Benfica going further than the round of 16 in the Champions League.

Benfica got a fairly good draw. Shouldn't take them lightly but in reality Benfica should be able to beat them. I see Benfica making a strong uefa cup run this year. Can't wait to see the maestro back next year.
Also, sevilha will play the other romanian team which is good news for us.

No, on paper they are not one of the big teams. I really dont know how far they can go. The last time that they went all the way, these vary same arguements were made about them not being a big team.

The the thing with Seville is that they are fighting for the La Liga title which is much bigger matter for that club.
