True, vary vary true. I thought that Fonseca played hard, although the lack of playing time really showed. He was not game sharp and at times, did not look vary good out there. But the effort was there. He did not really have any chances.

That should be an interesting combination. Well, Fonseca will have a few games in a row to prove he deserves more playing time. Lets see if he makes the most of it. If he does not, then he has no excuses. I look forward to seeing this. I actually think that in some ways, they may compliment each other.

can blame the coach, he didn't many alternatives, he basically made all the right moves

Simao was elected once again the MVP for Benfica with a 7

but since 1970, only twice did Benfica cameback from a 7 point deficit, at week 12

Coming back from this far back is a pipe dream. It will not happen unless Porto and Sporting self destruct. I dont see that happening. The important thing (the way I see it) is for FS to get this team working to its best level this year in preperation to challenge for the title next year.

I agree

but I also have to say - the Mateus case hurt Benfica, I hope it don't happen again, now we are going to face a better Belenenses team, and two weeks later we played theme again at the Restelo stadium
