Futebol Internacional – «Ranking» IFFHS: AC Milan termina ano na liderança; FC Porto mantém 5.º lugar



A Federação Internacional de História e Estatística do Futebol (IFFHS) divulgou hoje o «ranking» final de 2003 relativo à classificação dos melhores clubes mundiais da modalidade. A principal novidade foi a passagem do AC Milan para o 1.º lugar, enquanto o FC Porto se mantém no «top-5».


A equipa milanesa passou a somar 295 pontos neste «ranking», ultrapassando o Real Madrid (293 pontos) no úlitmo mês de 2003, terminando o ano a liderar a classificação da IFFHS. Esta foi, de resto, a única alteração de destaque no topo de uma tabela em que o FC Porto continuou a ocupar um honroso 5.º lugar, mantendo-se entre a elite mundial, com 262,5 pontos.

Os outros clubes portugueses constantes deste «ranking», que comporta os 350 melhores clubes do mundo, são o Benfica (74.º lugar), Sporting (98.º), U. Leiria (103.º), Boavista (159.º) e Marítimo (347.º).
