Vinte e cinco presidentes na comitiva

Serão 25 os presidentes de clubes da Liga e da Liga de Honra que deverão acompanhar os dirigentes e a equipa do Benfica na deslocação a Liverpool para o jogo da segunda mão. A lista está praticamente fechada, podendo, de qualquer forma, existir alguma alteração de última hora.

O Benfica convidou quase todos os presidentes dos clubes dos campeonatos profissionais para marcar presença em Anfield Road, uma operação de charme que teve grande acolhimento junto dos presidentes de 11 dos restantes 17 clubes da Liga e de 14 dos 18 da Liga de Honra.

O único presidente não convidado foi Pinto da Costa, do FC Porto, face às más relações existentes entre os responsáveis dos dois clubes. Sabe-se, também, que os líderes de Boavista, U. Leiria, V. Guimarães e Penafiel não puderam aceitar o convite, por incompatibilidade de agenda.
