Yes indeed. Funny thing is that neither my father or my grandfather were Benfiquistas. They didnt have a club, and my grandmother was all Academico. But its like they say ser Benfiquista e ter na alma a chama imensa, que nos conquista E leva a palma a luz intensa.

...all in all, it'll be an evenly matched game...

...Benfica's strikers have been unquestionably a better bunch than ours this season, Nuno gomes scoring 13 goals in 21 matches and Marcel with 9 in 18 matches...we are way under par compared to those stats...

...Our midfield will dominate if Gerrard and LG are able to start, with the likes of Alonso...if we play Hamann I believe we have greater chance as our midfield hasn't been working very well lately, Sissoko may need to rest himself abit and be replaced by Hamann...

...Our defence is greater than Benfica by far...we have been more consistent in league than theirs has been, Luisao and Rocha will lead thei back line I believe...but we are disadvantaged with our goal-shy strikers...

so in the end, they have a better strike force but we have the defence to match it...we have a goal-shy striker force but they're disadvatged by a lack of skilled defenders IMO...

Hmm...well Liverpool are better organised and capable of shutting Benfica out, but unless Liverpool score really early it will be tight.

I can't honestly see Benfica doing it, and being English I probably would prefer to see Liverpool through (sort of....maybe....well.....hmmm)

So they can face Chelsea and get spanked!! Not going to happen. Benfica will work Liverpool into the ground, those wankers have no clue what is waiting for them in Lisboa.
