That's is story is complete BS...Because Lille doesn't have a big budget and play in a stadium that only hold 20,000 fans..They are in the process of building a new stadium and find it hard to believe they will buy both Manuel Fernandes and Mantorras..The people who run Benfica better spend time trying to find out how they are going to win trophies rather than selling their prize players...We don't need more money in the pockets of LFV, but rather some championships...

I agree, somos. More like Lille wishlist. Mantorras for cheap would be a Good fit in the MLS, I know he has alittle to Give but why play in france.

Antes, aos 60’, o Benfica sofrera um revés, com a saída de Luisão, por precaução, recuando Katsouranis e entrando Rui Costa para o meio-campo, onde voltou a estar em grande plano, tal como Fábio Coentrão, que substituiu o apagado Mantorras. No Sporting, realce para o irrequieto Liedson, Romagnoli e pouco mais, o que não deixa sinal muito positivo para a Supertaça com o FC Porto com o FC Porto. Default Mantorras out with ankle injury
Angola striker Pedro Mantorras faces three months on the sidelines because on an ankle injury.

The 25-year-old, who plays for Portuguese side Benfica, has been forced into surgery after suffering the injury on Sunday.

He will miss his country's final African Cup of Nations qualifier against Kenya in Nairobi next month.

According to Benfica's Spanish coach Jose Antonio Camacho, Mantorras will be out for three months after the surgery.

The Angolan has had several operations on his troublesome knee since 2002.

"He's going to do some work until he is fully recovered," Camacho said.

Camacho has moved quickly to bring in forward reinforcements with Uruguay internationals Cristian Rodriguez and Maximiliano Pereira arriving in Lisbon Sunday night to take medicals on Monday.
